Meet Jake Ulas, a Territory Sales Manager at AA Medical. Jake began working for AA Medical in 2019. He started in the warehouse and worked hard to become a Territory Sales Manager. Growing up in Frankfort, Illinois, he played football and rugby and even won the little league world series for baseball at 12 years old. To learn more about Jake, Look at some of his Q&As below.

 

What was your first job?
My first job was in high school, as a stock boy at Walts, a local grocery store in town.
 
What's a skill you'd like to improve on?
One of the skills that I would most like to improve on is organization. I think everybody can benefit from being a little more organized. I would also like to improve my communication skills.
 
What is your favorite family vacation?
My favorite family vacation is a fishing trip we used to take, where we would go to Mercer, which is in Northern Wisconsin.
 
What is your proudest accomplishment
My proudest accomplishment is becoming my own independent person and growing as an individual. Also, of course, winning the little league world series. 
 
Would you say you're more of an extrovert or introvert? 
If I had to pick if I was an introvert or extrovert, I would say I am more of an Introvert for sure, but I do have my moments of being an extrovert, but most of the time, I am introverted. 
 
Is your glass half-full or half-empty? 
My glass is always half full.
 
What are you currently excited about in your job? 
I am most excited about helping the medical industry around the world. It is a privilege to be able to help others that are less fortunate and be able to get equipment to those to help save lives. 
 
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid.
 
Who inspires you?
My father. He has always been an inspiration for me and someone to look up to as times get tough
 
What is one professional skill you are working on building?
Learning a new language to further my relationships with my customers
